The CRA supports this ongoing quest for excellence by providing a one-stop shop for direct training services, an extensive referral program and discounted prices. We also provide students, educators and schools with financial scholarships, fundraising support and the plethora of advice necessary to ensure that the future of California’s food service business is in good hands.

CRAEF is proud to support the future of our industry today. With nearly a million dollars in awards donated since its inception, CRAEF provides high school and undergraduate students with the resources they need to prepare themselves for a career in the restaurant and hospitality industries.

ProStart
Aligned with the National Restaurant Association's ProStart® program, CRAEF offers a two-year vocational training program to high school students, giving them a jump start on the practical education necessary to succeed in the restaurant and hospitality industries.
